Tasting Notes: A rich, full-bodied wine with lush blueberry, raspberry and black currant fruit and a long finish. Nice complexity from being aged in French oak barrels.
Serving Advice: This wine pairs well with grilled meats.
Wine Tale: While most sharks have five gills, some have six – such as the Bluntnose Sixgill and the Sixgill Sawshark. The Bluntnose shark has
been known to live up to 80 years. Primarily a deepwater species, it lives over the outer continental shelves as well as upper slopes. It
once thrived worldwide – but its numbers in many areas have been diminished.
